McINTYRE LEAGUE:- Needing a minimum of a draw the team travelled to Dumbarton Golf Club on Monday 30th June 2008. Another fantastic performance saw them become 2008 League Winners in fine fashion by securing a victory by 5 matches to 3.

The team were unbeaten in their campaign and the icing on the cake was the fact that Ewan Grimes won the Peter Reece Memorial Trophy for the best individual performance throughout the campaign. Ewan was unbeaten and recorded a magnificent 4.5 points out of a possible 5.

The support from club members who came along to watch was appreciated.

Our congratulations to the entire team for this magnificent achievment.

THOMSON McCRONE:- The Thomson McCrone team travelled to Sandyhills Golf Club on Sunday 29th June 2008 in their last section match.

After a very close encounter Sandyhills won by 3 matches to 2.

Unfortunately other results went against us meaning that our interest in this year's competition is now over.

McINTYRE LEAGUE:- The team managed another tremendous 6-2 victory at home to Vale of Leven Golf Club on Wednesday 25th June 2008.

McINTYRE LEAGUE:- The team travelled to Clober on Wednesday 18th June 2008. A very close match ensued with the final result being a creditable 4-4 draw.

THOMSON McCRONE:- The team played host to Renfrew Golf Club on Sunday 15th June 2008. In what turned out to be a very tight match our boys won by the narrowest of margins by 3-2.

McINTYRE LEAGUE:- Cardross played host to Helensburgh on Wednesday 11th June 2008. Our boys produced another tremendous performance resulting in an excellent victory by 5 matches to 3.

McINTYRE LEAGUE:- The Gents McIntyre League travelled to Dalmuir on the evening of Wednesday 4th June 2008. The team played extremely well and came away with a fine 6-2 victory.

5-8 KNOCKOUT :- This team played their opening match at home to Palacerigg Golf Club on Sunday 1st June 2008 and some fine performances saw them take a 14 hole advantage forward to the second leg.

THOMSON McCRONE:- The team travelled to Sandyhills Golf Club on Sunday 1st June 2008. After a very close match the result went in favour of the home team by the score of 31/2 to 11/2.

George Thomas & Keith MacIntosh lost 2&1, Hamish Clark & Ian F MacDonald lost 2&1, Duncan McKellar & Brain Sayer lost 5&4, Andy O'Connor & Colin Bourhill halve match, Keith Robinson & Kenny marshall won 1up.

The reserve pairing of Team Convenor Jim Payne & Andy Black lost 2&1.

LADIES ALLANDER LEAGUE:- Cardross Ladies began their quest in this competitition at home to Helensburgh Golf Club on Friday 16th May 2008. In a very close match the ladies were edged out by 4 matches to 3.
